Pay monthly website FAQs

Yes. There is no setup fee and no deposit. You pay your first monthly fee by Direct Debit and we start building. The design, build, hosting, business email, SSL certificate and minor updates are all covered by the monthly price.

Your website design and build, UK hosting, an SSL certificate, a business email address at your own domain, security and software updates, and minor content updates whenever you need them. The only extras are things outside your plan, such as new pages or new features, which we quote for separately.

Most websites are live within 7 working days of us receiving your completed brief, logo and photos. Online shops take around 14 working days. You see a preview link and approve it before anything goes live.

Every site is built with a clean structure, fast load times, page titles, meta descriptions and schema markup, and is submitted to Google Search Console. Ranking for competitive searches takes ongoing work, so if you want help with that later we can talk you through options.

Payments are collected monthly by Direct Debit through GoCardless, protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. Your first payment is collected a few working days after you sign up, then on the same date each month. All prices exclude VAT, and a VAT invoice is emailed to you each month.

There is no fixed minimum term. You can cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice. Because we build your website at our own cost and recover it through the monthly fee, a one-off website buyout fee of 12 times your monthly fee (plus VAT) is payable when you cancel. In return we hand over your website files and help move your email, so you keep everything.

Give us 30 days' written notice by email. Your subscription ends at the end of the notice period and the website buyout fee becomes payable. Once it is paid we package up your full website files and migrate your business email to the provider of your choice within 14 working days.

Your content, logos and images are always yours. While you subscribe, the design, code and hosting are provided by us as part of the service. If you leave, paying the buyout fee transfers the full website files to you.

Small changes that take up to around 30 minutes: changing text, swapping images, updating prices, opening hours or contact details, adding a team member. Email the request and we complete it within 3 working days. New pages, redesigns and new features are quoted separately.

If you already have one we will connect it. If not, we can register one for you during set-up. Your domain stays registered in your business name.

You know your business best, so we ask you for the key details in a short brief. We turn that into tidy, search-friendly page copy. If you would like us to write everything from scratch, just say so in your brief and we will quote for it before we start.

Yes. You can upgrade at any time. We build the extra pages or features and your Direct Debit changes from the next billing date.
